Plucked Completes Post-Production

Filmmakers complete in-house post on the 110-minute feature; festival premiere and 2026 release to be announced

NEW YORK, NY — Plucked has completed post-production. The Gilded Age dark comedy from co-writers and co-directors Usher Morgan and Katie Vincent runs 110 minutes and is now finished and delivered.

Morgan and Vincent took post-production in-house, overseeing editing, visual effects, sound design and the final grade themselves — an extension of the control the pair kept over the project from script through delivery. Dark Passage Films retained distribution rights throughout.

Plucked completed a 32-day shoot, with principal photography taking place primarily in Rhode Island at the film's central cottage location and a local church. Additional pickup photography was completed in Pine Plains, New York.

The film stars Vincent as Katherine Greene, a woman who resolves to divorce her emotionally unstable husband in 1880s New York, with Jared Canfield, Catherine Curtin, J. Anthony Crane, Bryant Carroll and Susan Gallagher. Cinematography is by Giuseppe Masi.

A festival premiere and a 2026 release plan will be announced shortly. Screeners are available to press, programmers and industry on request.
